Halifax Design Festival is built by a community of people who believe in the power of design to shape our city, our culture, and the way we experience the world.

As we prepare for our inaugural festival, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring four days of design programming to life across Halifax.

Whether you can lend a few hours or want to be involved throughout the festival, there’s a role for you. Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet designers, artists, makers, speakers, and fellow design enthusiasts while helping create a welcoming and memorable festival experience.

No design experience is required—just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to pitch in.
